В настоящей статье автор предпринял попытку дать определение понятию «магазинные воры» и представил их классификации. Основой классификаций являются мотив совершения магазинной кражи и способ хищения. В качестве эмпирической базы использован материал, предоставленный экспертами по торговой безопасности в розничной сетевой торговле г. Санкт-Петербурга.

The author attempts to present the concept and classification of shoplifters. The basis of the classification is the motives for shoplifting and theft method. Shoplifters are represented by two groups: amateurs and professionals. The empirical base is the material provided by commercial security experts of St. Petersburg in the retail trade network.
